Laws of Physics, Grammar and Grace.

I was considering God and his greatness, and myself in my depravity. How immensely I did not deserve God's grace of Jesus in my life. Just knowing him, having a relationship with him is enough... he is everything. He is Holy, Lovely, Perfect in every way and thing. He loves, oh how he loves. He loves us is a love that... in several sense is law breaking. The Love of my Jesus breaks laws of nature, but thankfully My God makes the laws.

First, I would like to talk about grammar. I know, we all hate grammar, but it does make a point. Sin is a verb, not a noun. People like to think that it is Sin that is evil and sin, not sinners, should go to hell, but sin is not a noun. You cannot do anything with sin. Sin is an action, once completed is done and finished. Actions have consequences, but the consequence is not put on the sin, but the person that committed the sin, which would be the sinner. Sin is a terrible thing, but it is indeed OUR actions, but not a sentient being, nor a physical entity. What the 'evil' of sin is... is us. We are what is evil, not the 'sin' because that is a verb is can't be anything. Therefore the NOUN that commits the ACTION is the object of the condemnation of the action. Evil action=evil person. So God sends people to hell for their evil actions, but it is indeed the PERSON that ends up in the lake of fire because of what that person did.

The second law, the law of nature/physics: Every action has a equal and opposite reaction.

So, we have established that sin is a verb, a evil action and the reaction to sin is hell. Doesn't that make two bad things? Sin=bad. Hell=bad. Hell is a place, is is not a sentient being, it is not after you, nor your sin. Hell is neither intelligent nor alive, it is a place. So, hell isn't out to get you. Then what is?

GOD. God is out to get you. He will punish sin, that is one of his promises and us being the sinners are the direct object of that wrath.

Now, back to the law of nature. The opposite reaction of our wickedness is God's holiness. God sending sinners to Hell is right, righteous, pure, holy, just and every other attribute of God. God is doing the right thing when he sends sinners to hell. Consider attributes of God, every one of those is why God sends people to hell. Love? How could love send people to hell? God is Love right? And his perfect love loves what is holy, meaning, himself. God loves his Glory and he is RIGHT to do so and he will not have his wicked creation staining his holiness. He does not need us to be happy, he does not need our worship, he does not need anything from us. WE ARE WORTHLESS. WE BELONG IN HELL, NOT WITH A PERFECT GOD. If we were to truly see our wickedness and his perfection-with a right heart- we would know that we do cannot be in his presence.

So, how do we have a relationship with such a perfect God?

Yeshua, Jesus, Lord of Lords, Kings of Kings, Prince or Peace, The one who comes on a White Horse, Savior, Messiah, Redeemer, Lover, Son of God, The Christ. God Himself, Jesus Christ broke the laws of nature in order to bring us sinners into his love for His glory.

The New Law of Grace. Read Galatians... it is all about the New Law, the law of freedom, a law that does not require anything from us to be justified before God. It is ALL CHRIST. Because he loved us, and (remember he does not need us) he wants us to have Him not for His benefit (because we can't benefit God) but for our benefit. How awesome is that?

This holy God came down to take the punishment that HE was going to inflict upon us who deserved it. Jesus is a person, he did an action that saved us from the action that He Himself should have done to us. What AMAZING LOVE, he sacrificed himself to save us from HIM. It isn't so much that he is saving us from our sins, remember our sins aren't out to get us, he saved us from his just punishment.

In human terms, what Christ did on the Cross was... wrong... in a legal sense, everything that has seen GOD should have said, “NO!! They have rebelled against you, oh God. Defend your holiness. Destroy them!!” and He should. But for some reason this Holy God said, “No. I WANT them to know me. I WANT them to be with me. I LOVE them. And I WILL SAVED THEM. They will be HOLY because I will make them HOLY.”

ONLY GOD COULD DO THAT!! only something that is Holy could make something else holy. But there is still a problem with our sins, those actions that we committed against God. What could be done about those, they can't be undone... they've already happened. But Something else happened outside of time, nature and comprehension. Something that defied all of nature. God himself came to earth, lived a sinless life. HE was innocent. There was no sin to be paid for in his flesh, so he could take ours.

Jesus did that, he took the punishment for our sins because he WANTED us. And all he asks of us is to believe and love him. He says REPENT, turn from those actions that damned us to hell and live to serve him. And the best part. He died, forgave and loved even though he knew that we would fail. We still sin, and he still loves and forgives. And he gives us the power through his Holy Spirit to live in a manner different from the world, not perfect, but trying to live to please him. And someday we will be with him in heaven and we will succeed, we will be sinless... and we will worship such an awesome God for all of eternity.
